I really want to get a smartphone, but I currently use cricket communications. I was told that I can use any phone as long as it was a CDMA phone. What phones are good when flashing over to a different service provider? I really like Blackberry phones but I've heard that these have problems with certain features when flashing. I also looked at Samsung phones like the Omnia and the Instinct. If you have any advice, or recommendations for a good phone, please let me know.

I got my Motorola Q off of http://www.craigslist.com (Denver search) and I’ve had it for 2 years. Everything worked great (pic mail, internet, etc) but then the phone locked itself and messed up the entire flashed so it’s time for a new one. The phone worked for a year before all that happend. Good phone. Thin, VERY durable, good style of phone.
