LG Introduces Optimus

The long wait of smartphones fanatics is over as LG Electronics has finally reveals the latest mobile technology. The leading smartphone provider has launched the LG Optimus Series – a series of smart devices. This is in response to LG’s commitment and massive campaign to provide stylish yet convenient mobile phones to information-driven consumers.

Early this year, LG announced that they are going to release a series of smartphones that will enable users to benefit Android applications without complexity. With Android applications, LG Optimus will maximize the features of the smartphones and is designed for people who want to experience superior and high-powered multimedia environment. The advantage is that Optimus is mechanically synchronized with Google account, allowing users to log-in once but will have access to their accounts in Youtube, Gmail, Gtalk, and other social networking sites.

LG will introduce ten new smartphone devices worldwide with the Optimus label before this year ends. To name two new smartphone is the LG Optimus Chic and the LG Optimus One. These two smartphones are Android-powered devices that integrate the latest and speedy Android Platform 2.2 (Froyo).

Android is Google’s operating system for mobile devices. The LG Optimus chic will cater to fashion aficionados looking for tasteful and stylish design with soft and smooth lines. On the other hand, Optimus One with Google packs features and delivers flawless connection with the world as it has the ability to easily connect to Google’s Android Market.

The LG’s new tablet will compete with the advent of modern and convenient mobile phones answering to the consumer’s increasing demand for convenient user interface and diverse multimedia options. The release of the LG Optimus is the result of the survey and research conducted by LG. According to the result, ease of finding information is the top motivator in considering a smartphone purchase. The research also considers the liked and dislike of every consumer of today’s most popular communications devices offered in the market. On the top of the consumer’s priority list is the user friendliness and speedy response in the time of need.

“The LG Optimus Series is aimed at challenging the notion that one device can meet the needs of many,” quoted by Dr. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company on the release of LG Optimus Series. “At LG, we believe in providing people with many different choices because our customers are not all alike. We want to provide devices that suit all needs and simplify people’s lives,” he added.

Optimus is a Latin word for best, thus a guiding principle of LG in creating the LG Optimus Series.
