The Pantech Link is one of the slimmest smartphones on the market and it packs a boatload of features into its compact design. The handset measures less than a ½-inch thick but still manages to include a crisp 2.4-inch LCD display and a full QWERTY keyboard. This phone is sold by various carriers, the most notable of whom is AT&T Wireless. Consumers should further research pricing because it varies by carrier.
Smartphone reviews concur on the key features being the good quality 1.3 megapixel camera, music player, 3G compatibility, GPS, the QWERTY keyboard, and support for cloud services from AT&T. This reasonably priced phone includes a wide assortment of mid-range features. It even has a nice rubberized backing that makes it easy to hold and prevents it from slipping when placed on a smooth surface.
This phone can multitask, so users can do things like reply to a text message while talking on the phone. Text messaging is one of the things this phone does best, thanks to the raised keyboard with sizeable buttons. An included music player allows users to develop and edit playlists and shuffle or repeat songs. The microSD card slot supports cards up to 16 GB. Overall, the onboard features are great and this phone is an excellent value. The only thing that caused Pantech Link smartphone ratings to dip is the mediocre call quality, though that may be carrier-dependent.
