The 13-inch display could use an upgrade to a higher resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio rather than the included 16:10 ratio. Other than that and the lack of SD card slot, there is really not much bad to say.
The design includes a unibody construction and has a very slim appearance. The glass multitouch track pad is one of the highlights of this wireless Internet laptop. The entire pad can be pressed down to serve as a left mouse button. Users can tap to click and use intuitive multitouch gestures to do things like minimize and right mouse click.
Included are two USB ports, a DVD burner, mini-DisplayPort video output, Bluetooth, and 802.11n Wi-Fi. The configuration includes 2 GB RAM and 250 GB hard drive, both of which are upgradable for an additional cost. The inclusion of a Nvidia GeForce 320M graphics chip provides nice HD video playback and 3D graphics. Though it is not a true gaming laptop, this upgraded chip makes the MacBook adequate for playing most games. The 6 ½ hour battery life will provide more than enough juice for gaming and other tasks while unplugged.
