Five New Windows Phone 7 Smartphones Enter The Smartphone Comparison Arena

by Jerry1973 on October 16, 2010

On Thursday, HTC revealed its five new Windows Phone 7 smartphones. HTC is a worldwide smartphone designer as well as a long-time partner of technology giant Microsoft. The new smartphones are called the HTC 7 Surround, Mozart, Trophy, Pro, and HD7. The Windows Phone 7 platform is a rival to the android and iphone operating systems.

Each soon-to-be-released phone includes the new Windows Phone 7 platform complete with exciting new technologies. According to HTC Corp. CEO Peter Chou, his company is going all out, identifying integration opportunities with popular Microsoft services like Zune and Xbox Live. Mr. Chou claims that Microsoft is setting a new mobile industry benchmark.

HTC has added its distinctive design flair and unique materials to this new line of phones. The company is also supplying new technologies and features. One of these is a new HTC Hub. This will include exclusive utilities and applications, such as a new stocks application, weather application, and photo enhancer. The photographic enhancements include the ability for a person to add special effects to photos prior to sharing the images with friends.

The HTC Surround will be offered through AT&T Wireless and the HD7 will be sold by T-Mobile. The Surround includes unique slide-out dual stereo speakers featuring surround sound. The HD7 has the largest screen offered on a Windows Phone. It is perfect for viewing T-Mobile TV and Netflix movies. At this time, details are scant regarding the HTC Mozart, Trophy, and Pro.

Smartphone reviews regarding these phones will surely be released soon. HTC made such a splash with its Droid Incredible and EVO 4G phones, it is difficult to believe that one of these new Windows Phone 7 devices may top those. The award for best smartphone seems to be a dynamic title, with the winner changing from one week to the next.
