GetGlue, an app formerly exclusive to the iPhone now launches a new app for the iPad much to the joy of many who use this Apple app to know what kind of entertainment their friends are into. GetGlue lets users log in while they read a book, watch a movie or a show, or grace an event and be given personalized suggestions and recommendations on how their friends perceive the book, movie, or event the user is currently into and in the process probably earn unique prizes and rewards from selected entertainment companies who are into the television and movie industry.
This introduction of the Getglue app to the iPad is very timely since it takes full benefit of its features especially the large screen format it provides which makes access to the social network more exciting and appealing to the eye. These achievements would not have been possible without GetGLue’s tie up with some of entertainment industries big names which include Fox and PBS which has two major shows lined up this coming fall season. Fox has surprises in store for the GetGlue app users who are fans of the shows Glee and Bones and they have more exciting shows coming up this coming fall the titles of which are Lone Star and Raising Hope.
